Nkhata-Bay Community Radio Ltd trading as Chirundu FM, was registered by the registrar of companies in the year 2012 ,and started its operations on 16th September,2016, A geographical community radio station based in Nkhata Bay, broadcasting in Nkhata-Bay and in other areas over one hundred kilometer’s radius . serves over two hundred thousand people as a vital platform for promoting development, transparency, and accountability in the district. The station plays a pivotal role in preserving and revitalizing Tonga culture while amplifying the voices of marginalized communities.
